The signs

This section brings together the twelve signs of the zodiac, from Aries to Pisces. Each entry gives the sign's key facts (dates, element, mode, ruling planet), then its main traits, the way it loves and the way it works. The four elements (Fire, Earth, Air, Water) and the three modes (cardinal, fixed, mutable) intersect so that no two signs are quite alike.

Read the entries in zodiac order: each sign answers the one before it, and signs that face each other, such as Aries and Libra, shed light on one another. Start with your Sun sign, then move on to the sign of your Ascendant and the sign of your Moon. Every entry ends with the same reminder: your Sun sign is only one piece of your chart.

In a chart, a sign is never read on its own: it colors the planet or angle placed in it. In your AstralPro natal report, it appears in the Sign column of the positions table, on every row of the “House cusps” table, and in the element and modality bars that sum up the color of your chart. The ruler of each sign follows modern rulerships: Pluto for Scorpio, Uranus for Aquarius, Neptune for Pisces.
